A City-to-Sea Vancouver Engagement — Eunice & Ashan

Two looks, one love story

Some couples can't decide on a vibe, so we give them both.

Eunice & Ashan split their engagement session in two — soft and sunlit by day, black-tie and golden by evening.

One shoot, two completely different moods, and not a dull frame between them.

White, and wide open

We started in white, among the clean concrete lines and spring gardens near UBC.

Lilacs in full bloom. A pergola dripping with green. Long lawns backlit like a daydream.

It's the kind of light that makes you slow down — so we did.

They walked, they laughed, they leaned into each other, and the camera just kept up.

Then the city turned formal

For the second half, everything changed.

She slipped into a deep navy gown; he went sharp in a matching suit.

We moved to the water — False Creek bridges mirrored in the seawall, the downtown skyline stacked across the inlet.

Same couple, a whole new film.

Golden hour on English Bay

The sun did what it does best over English Bay.

We found a stretch of rocky beach with the North Shore mountains behind and the city glittering across the water.

They waded in, held hands, and let the light go pink and then blue.

No posing required — just the two of them and the last of the day.

Why we love an engagement session

An engagement session isn't a formality. It's a rehearsal for the best day of your life.

It's how you learn what you look like relaxed, in love, and completely yourselves in front of a lens.

By the time the wedding comes, the camera already feels like a friend.

Let's plan yours

Two looks or one, city or sea — we'll build the evening around you.

Tell us the corners of Vancouver you love, and we'll bring the light.
